My mom (whom we fondly call Mados) says my feet have wheels. Everyone in the family thinks it’s a joke, but Mados believes otherwise; and she’s right. I love to travel, even by foot. By that I meant literally by foot!

However, since my little one is still too young to travel far, Dave and I thought it best not go anywhere yet until Arvid can already talk. Nonetheless, we already have the following destinations in mind: Disneyland, Hongkong; Sentosa Luge, Singapore; and Tasmania, Australia.
Disneyland and Sentosa are obviously Arvid’s choices not only because of the children’s attractions but also because his Aunt Dorie and Uncle Alvin are in the two countries. Meanwhile, Tasmania (with Launceston Hotels and Devonport Hotels in mind) is our pick. Let me tell you why.
Tasmania boasts of pristine beaches, inviting greeneries, rich heritage, colorful wild flowers, trek-ready mountains
and many more. As such, it will definitely be a great getaway for photo shoots. The gardens near Hobart Hotels might just be the perfect place for my “Flower Girl” photo dream!
Aside from the wide array of activities, Tasmania also offers amazing accommodation rates specifically tailored for family travellers. Hobart Hotels, Launceston Hotels and Devonport Hotels are just what you need. If internationally-acclaimed standards, state-of-the-art facilities, excellent service and refined hospitality do not attract you to these places, then perhaps a hot rate starting from AUD$20.00 for lone travelers and AUD$80.00 for families would!
At Hobart Hotels, my pick would be Henry Jones Art Hotel for it certainly lives up to its name. Among the Launceston Hotels, I’d probably go for Grand Chancellor Hotel for its cozy ambiance and location. Lastly, if I’d be in Devonport Hotels, I’d love to stay at Chateau Yering Historic House Hotel, but that would mean extravagant spending for a thrifty person like me!
How’s that for a start up plan for vacation destination? Come, let’s get those feet rolling! Shouldn’t I say wheels?

Things happen when they happen, and sometimes you can’t even figure out why or how!
I am browsing the themes for my blog when I accidentally hit something. Of course, I didn’t know that I activated anything because I am not prepared to change my blog’s layout yet. But it happened – the unwanted change! Silently, I protested, but I knew there’s nothing else that I can do in a blink as the header design I had before is in another computer. There isn’t even a security that it’s still there, but I’m crossing my fingers.
All the while, I thought that perhaps there’s a reason behind this. Perhaps, a change is really needed. Perhaps, a change will result to something better…
For now, I will just be happy despite the unwanted change; while I am doing things that will restore, if not, renew what is lost.
